Episode 1

New Technologies in Hingham Public Schools

This episode focuses on the new technologies that are currently being used throughout the Hingham Public school system. Dr. Galo sat down and spoke with a few members of the elementary administration including East Elementary School Principal, Anthony Keady and Plymouth River Elementary School Technology Teacher, Tina Wehner. The trio discussed the many ways that technology facilitates learning for young children.Dr. Galo also sat down with Tim Ciolkosz, the Hingham Middle School 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher who introduced us to the new 3D printer being used in the STEM program which includes the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Episode 2 Tech Squad This episode of Superintendent Spotlight focuses on the Tech Squad and Help Desk programs at the Hingham High School. Dr. Galo sits down with Hingham High School Library Media Specialist Katy Gallagher and Tech Squad Teacher Sarah Coughlin.
Episode 3Full Day Kindergarten Program

Dr. Galo sits down with Assistant Superintendent, Ellen Keane, Principal of South Elementary School, Mary Eastwood, K-1 Teacher at South Elementary School, Lakshmi Hobson, Kindergarten Teacher at Plymouth River Elementary School, Laura Donovan, and South Elementary School Kindergarten Teacher, Stephany Woodward, to discuss the opportunity to have a full day kindergarten program in Hingham.
